Once you assemble the first chair, you get the concept and so the second chair assembles faster. The mesh for the chair is transparent in some way you can see through the wicker. Overall nice chair. The packaging held up well in transit, and right out of the box, not a single piece was damaged, bent, or scratched. Furthermore, every single piece of hardware was included—no running out to the hardware store because they shorted you a bolt or a washer. The Assembly Process -It took me right around 45 minutes from start to finish to put both chairs together. **Pro-tip:** grab your own drill and a socket set. Using real tools instead of the flimsy wrenches they include makes the entire process infinitely smoother and faster. The only minor critique I have is regarding the instruction manual. Calling it "vague" would be an understatement. The manual essentially boils down to four hilariously brief steps: Put the top together. Put the bottom on the top. Install the top to the base. I am really enjoying these stackable patio chairs! They are comfy and space efficient. We did have some difficulty putting them together because the legs aren’t labeled front and back. It was very difficult to tell which was which, so we had to start over once we realized one chair had the legs the wrong way.
