This towel hanger is just what I needed. I had my downstairs bathroom renovated recently, and a contractor installed a shower. Also, they installed a pocket door (sliding) and advised me not to mount anything on the wall, unless I used short screws. I needed to find a way to hang my bath towels to dry. This towel hanger is 28 inches wide, which just about accommodates my towels that are 30 inches wide.
