Husband and wife tag team to put together the armoire. The first one took 2 hours, the second one took 1.5 hours and the third one took 1 hour so in total 4.5 hrs. We had EDM music playing in the background so it kept us motivated throughout the process. The directions were very easy to follow. Love this cabinet. The quality is really good for what it is, and no cardboard for the back. It's hard board with the same white finish as the cabinet. Plenty of parts and even a screwdriver included. I'm an active woman, 75, used to putting things together, and managed it by myself. Just took my time and thought through every step for the best outcome. Everything fit together perfectly, no misplaced holes, etc. I agree with another reviewer that the wheel on the door can be a bit balky, but it's fine and helps keep things balanced. I needed a place to put the kids books and other things. This works perfect. I wanted to give this a rating of 5, but that door doesn’t have a stop on top or bottom. So it just comes off if someone bumps it. Also there’s a board right behind the rod that the door slides on that had the hole drilled in the wrong spot so there’s only one screw connector instead of the two it should have. This is my first Wayfair review, although not my first purchase. I absolutely love everything about this door! It is heavy and sturdy, and it slides well for open and close. I will be drilling a few small holes on the shelf side, for hooks to store car keys and other items to have handy by the front door. It’s exactly what I pictured for my space. However, I gave this a 4-star due to the unclear instructions. It took my husband and me over an hour to put the door together, and then an afternoon to install it. This is definitely a two-person job! I really wish companies would understand that most of us aren’t assemblers by nature, and that step-by step photos and super-specific instructions go a long way towards a customer’s satisfaction.
