Weekend Engineering Degree Required My brother and I spent our weekend assembling this armoire. We meticulously studied the instructions, compared the pieces, checked the numbers, and occasionally questioned every decision that had brought us to this moment. We discovered four or five fairly major errors in the instructions. One page would tell us to use a specific part, then the next page would casually reveal that this was not what they meant at all. The pictures were so lacking in detail that assembling this wardrobe became part vision test, part jigsaw puzzle, and part engineering exam. After finally completing it, we stood back feeling extremely proud of ourselves. Then we discovered that we could not attach the door with the full length mirror because one piece of wood had been installed upside down many hours earlier. Fixing it would require taking most of the armoire apart. We have decided that mirrors are overrated. We now have an attractive open shelving area instead. One more important warning. Do not put blue tape on the veneer to mark where the next nail should go. The tape will remove the finish. Apparently, this veneer is emotionally attached to the blue tape and leaves with it. Overall, we really like the look of the armoire. It is spacious, well arranged, and will hold plenty of clothing, which is exactly what we wanted. However, someone desperately needs to proofread the instructions and improve the illustrations. If the company needs help, I would be happy to assist. After this weekend, I feel fully qualified to rewrite the manual and possibly apply for an entry level engineering position.. Genevieve. Coronado, CA. Mon Sep 14 2026

Im really pleased with this piece. Im using it for a bathroom cabinet to hold towels on the bottom and toiletries on top. Super easy to assemble myself (63 yr old female) and I LOVE that the cabinet doors dont use hinges, but rather, spring-loaded pegs that pop in the ends. I did leave off one back panel to access a power outlet, but I think it looks better that way too with the wall exposed, vrsther than looking at the pressboard back panel. The ad is a little misleading in that it states the cabinet is 100 bamboo, it is not, the back and side panels are pressboard with bamboo print. It has adjustable feet which I so appreciate since the flooring is uneven. All in all its a quality, solid cabinet, looks nice and a good value.. Heather. Big Island, Hawaii. Fri Jul 31 2026

This is almost what I expected. I thought there were 2 drawers, but they are little doors, not an issue if the magnets aligned properly. One did, the other didn’t, based on the credited holes, so my top door flops open with any movement of the piece (like when something is hung up or removed from it. It’s nice looking and functional, very light weight too. I will have to find a solution to the door issue.. Dawn. CA. Sun Aug 02 2026
