Really want to like the wardrobe. The hardware for the barn door broke during installation and no replacement available. Partially due to the timing of my moveinstallation but customer service was not use. Even offered to by replacements. Just ignored and dismissed by customer service. Disappointed.. Anonymous. The item resembles the picture (h0wecer looks a bit less cheaper amd polished as advertised/pictured). It was not as finished as I'd hoped, considering there was a deep-groove scratch about 3 feet long and about 16th of an inch deep on on one of the pieces for the door. I can't tell which piece because it is unassembled and not yet put together. There are a few more scratches on various pieces. I could submit a video, if applicable. Lastly, I was a bit disappointed that it included plastic rollers and hinges rather than metal. It was delivered on time. This dresser is constructed from MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), a high-quality engineered wood product known for its smooth surface and durability. While MDF does not feature the natural grain and texture of solid wood, it provides excellent resistance to warping and is less prone to cracking over time, making it an ideal choice for stylish, long-lasting furniture.

The “rustic” antique black looks nice, but due to the ROUGH texture of the wood I think it will be extremely hard to dust. The dust clothe will catch in the wood. For the cost, I think I should have kept looking. I also believe that photos of the lower section should have been available to view. I do “like” the armoire, but I don’t “love” it. I guess it will do the job. I hung coats & jackets from the clothes rod and beneath the shelf I installed I put my capris. I used the other shelf in the lower section and placed my jeans in there. It’s very roomy. Note, it states there are 3 shelves and there were only 2 actual shelves in the unit. I guess if you placed 2 shelves in the upper section that you would have 3 separate spaces if you count the bottom of the upper area as the 3rd shelf. Hope picture helps if you’re trying to decide.. This is my first Wayfair review, although not my first purchase. I absolutely love everything about this door! It is heavy and sturdy, and it slides well for open and close. I will be drilling a few small holes on the shelf side, for hooks to store car keys and other items to have handy by the front door. It’s exactly what I pictured for my space. However, I gave this a 4-star due to the unclear instructions. It took my husband and me over an hour to put the door together, and then an afternoon to install it. This is definitely a two-person job! I really wish companies would understand that most of us aren’t assemblers by nature, and that step-by step photos and super-specific instructions go a long way towards a customer’s satisfaction.
