This piece is beautiful. The oak is furniture grade with clear grain. The joinery is tight. The brass hardware is nice and the finish keeps the natural look of the wood while still gleaming. The glass does rattle, but that is an easy fix. It was packed well and had no damage despite the outside of the box being beat up. The construction of the drawers is of a very soft wood, and the drawer bottoms are an odd split panel that I’m not a fan off (will be difficult to keep clean). I love the end product! It’s sturdy, balanced, and looks great in my living room. It has plenty of storage and the modern look is sleek. However, the assembly process for this item was the most laborious that I’ve had with a Wayfair product so far. Many difficult screws and moving parts that needed adjustment. This is definitely a two person job. I appreciate that this item has cable management, but one of the cable holes is behind the drawers, which doesn’t make much functional sense in my opinion. I love this TV stand and it is just the right color for my dark floors. It does need assembly. It comes with a lot of pieces and takes several hours to assemble.
