Great solid duvet cover with shams. Purchased for teen boy. Did not smell any worse than a set of super expensive organic bamboo sheets we received the same day. They are in fact blue, just a very dark blue/grey but mostly blue (headboard of bed is dark grey for comparison). The only thing i will say is I move around alot when I sleep so my pillow comes out of the car alot but, it's totally fine and an easy fix to just slide it back in.
