Love the way it turned out. It’s definitely a two person job. It was fairly simple assembly until you get to the roofing part. Putting on the metal roof was a challenge, but workable with two people- one on a ladder. The holes lined up exactly with all pieces, but a few times we had to maneuver them and adjust to line things up. We did line up all of the roofing pieces on the ground before beginning as shown in the instructions. Highly suggest that. After assembly, it didn’t not feel as sturdy as we wanted, so we mounted ours to 4 x 4’s and staked those into the ground with rebar. Feels sturdy now. We are very pleased with it.. Kellye. It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. The instructions are a little confusing in some parts because the pictures are tiny. And after I sliced my finger pretty good on the metal roof, I understood why they give you gloves. Razor sharp. I was nervous at first, because the photos show the posts and headers as multiple pieces. However, we have had it standing in our deck for a few months now, and it holds up very well to rain and strong winds. It sagged in the middle at first, but when screwed in place to the deck, the header straightens right up. The brackets are heavy duty metal, fastened through pre-drilled holes in the treated wood.
