This is an antique handmade rug from the early 20th century. The piece was crafted from lamb's wool on a cotton foundation and was vegetable dyed. It has a dense, soft pile, and excellent quality, to ensure that you will enjoy it for years to come, Sarouk rugs are among the most luxurious classically derived, room-sized Persian carpets. They were produced in the Arak region, not far from where Fereghans and Sultanabads were made. Some of the early examples were so closely related to Fereghans that they have been designated as Sarouk-Fereghans. While the latter tend to have medallion designs, Sarouk carpets from about 1900 onward were mostly produced in an allover format, with dense sprays or bouquets of flowers and vines arrayed across the carpet symmetrically, on a deep blue or burgundy ground. This latter type is known for its soft, velvety wool and fairly thick pile.

*photo to come* Wow! I can not believe this was a bed in a box! This was my first time getting a hybrid bed in a box (I’ve always just thought of memory foam in a box) so I was skeptical, but once fully expanded, I can’t believe believe it. The last pillow top plus mattress I got was way over priced, but was comfy so I always would justify to myself the price was worth it. After seeing what I can get from wayfair for a quarter of the price and double to comfort, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to buying from a big box store. The bed is firm, but still bouncy bc of the coils and super layered making it extra comfy. I am a stomach and back sleeper and have not had any issues and even my husband loves it! So it’s a win win!. Gina. Minnesota. Thu Aug 06 2026
