Got this for my son’s room. I put a 1.25” butcher block top on it. The desk works great and lifts and lowers smooth. I have purchased other products from this company. Desk is very lovely. Paid extra for assembly and that was fine as well. Issue, desk came in damaged. Very visible crack on top of the desk and is now sharp to the touch. Very disappointing. In the process of seeing what can be done since the desk has been assembled and was extremely heavy. Was delivered in five separate boxes. The adjustable height is very nice and works well. They didn't show up until 4pm that day. Third - the instructions are clearly from outside this country...which isn't a big deal as long as they are clear and accurate...they were neither. Mislabelled parts in the manual, one entire instruction manual for the desk wasn't included (or was never made) and then there were several steps where I realized "I should have been told to do this 5 steps ago".
