Use narrow outdoor areas efficiently with the DuraMax SideMate Plus 4 ft. x 8 ft. Vinyl Lean-To Storage Shed. Designed for placement beside a home, fence, or other structure, it provides enclosed storage for garden tools, bicycles, lawn equipment, and seasonal supplies. The reversible door helps adapt access to your layout, reinforced framing adds support, and the included foundation helps create a stable installation.

This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. That way, we're not worried about it blowing over with heavy winds. [I was incentivized by Wayfair with a monetary reward in exchange for a review]. Diana. San Jose, CA. Thu Apr 23 2026

We put this in our carport. We hired a handyman to assemble it and install a 12 inch plywood floor. This wooden outdoor storage cabinet can hold most garden tools like watering cans, hoses, spades, and pots, ending clutter and reducing trips. Own this garden shed and enjoy a more organized, relaxing outdoor life!

This is the most passionate review I will ever write about a piece of furniture. If i could rate this a 3.5 I would. First of all, it's the most adorable shed I've ever seen and I'm so proud to call it mine. However, building this thing was like what I imagine giving birth is like. It took my husband and I around 5 hours to build over three days in addition to needing to borrow a drill to finish the job. The wood is thin, and dents easy, and to top it all off the whole thing was covered in shards of fiberglass upon unboxing the two packages, meaning we had to wipe the entrance to our house down and build the thing outside. It requires two people to assemble and between the lack of useful directions and less than helpful (or missing) predrilled holes, it was a battle. But I love it. Thank god it's over... Sara. The Darwin is everything you want in a shed. It looks and feels like real wood, but it performs like nothing else. This means that in an hour or two you'll have a strong, durable, great-looking shed that'll last you for years to come.

I love this little shed! The build took 2 of us about 2-3 hours and was not difficult. I wish the base was brown as the black stands out a bit, but it is sturdier than I expected. I’d recommend it - especially for the price!. Kristin. Crownsville, MD. Mon Oct 05 2026

Good Buy! Assembling the shed was a little tricky at first, but once we sorted out the parts, everything went smoothly. My husband is not a fan of assembling things, but he manages to do it. The shed looks neat, decent, and well-made. It’s a good size for storing my garden tools and keeping everything organized. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and how it looks.. Leodelyn. This premium outdoor storage shed combines durability and convenience with its waterproof plastic floor, reinforced metal panels (99-lb structure), and galvanized rust-proof coating. Spacious enough for 2 lawnmowers or 3 bikes, it withstands 54 mph winds.

A 2 person job definitely. Need a whole day to assemble or more. Choose a clear cool nonwindy day. Follow instructions very carefully as the is such an up and down side. Made the mistake of not finishing in one day a windy day blew it down. Material is very thin bends easily. Don't leave unattended. After finishing everything was fine. Anchoring is very important. Floor is cheap and does not cover all the way. Theres tiny gaps but does not affect the overall project.. Catalina Costilla. Laredo, TX. Wed Sep 16 2026
