I ordered the slate gray and they are definitely not gray if you're really looking for that color. They are a nice color of pale blue (see photos) and the sheets are soft and appear to be good quality. They had a strong odor upon opening the box but once washed they are fine. This duvet is just beautiful. It’s 100% cotton and just silky to the touch. I really wouldn’t call it beige: it’s more of an ivory. There are good ties in each corner to secure the comforter inside.
