Our Prestow round wooden extending dining table with pedestal leg is all about that chic rustic farmhouse style. This table will comfortably seat 4 when closed and 6 when extended. Clean lines, sturdy design, rounded edges to the table top and sitting on four feet jutting from that central pedestal leg, this table will look fab in any modern home, whether you're going for warm neutrals, that French elegant cottage look or even as part of an eclectic maximalist space. Constructed from solid 100% rubberwood, this extendable dinner table is sturdy, durable and will look great while doing it! The Prestow uses a simple butterfly mechanism - gently pull on either end of the table to 'open' the sliding mechanism and reveal the extension piece concealed under the top. Lift and unfold the extension piece to create the additional length. Why not pair these with any of our matching wooden cross back chairs for a sleek look? Available in either white and gray, cream and oak or oak. This product is real wood and so it will age, which can result in colour variations.

Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. OK, first of all let me just say we did have an issue with shipping. The first one arrived and it had a blemish on the top. It had been hit at some point during delivery, so we contacted Wayfair and they were more than happy to send us another table.
