We love the stretchers between the legs that provide stability and do double duty as footrests. Plus, felt pads on the feet protect your floors from scuffs and scratches. The square seats and low backs are wrapped in foam and are covered in beige polyester. Partial assembly is required, but the good news is all the tools are included.

These stools are exactly as advertised. They are nice and perfect for a kitchen countertop. I gave them a 4 star only because the paper instructions are hard to follow.
