The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. I bought both the 7 drawer and the 4 drawer dressers from this set and the 7 drawer dresser was much easier to assemble. The London Lane Collection's 7 drawer dresser has tall, deep drawers providing lots of storage space.  The dresser drawers have under mount soft closing glides with English dovetail construction.  All the top drawers have felt lined inner drawer bottoms.
