The stool bases are pretty heavy and feel sturdy. The packaging was horrible but they don't look to be damaged. We haven't assembled these yet so I can't speak to the ease of that. They're definitely the exact style and color I was looking for - a polished gold finish with a black seat cushion. They will match perfectly with our newly remodeled black/white/gold kitchen. Though this will be the last large item I purchase from Wayfair. The box they came in said they were white which leads me to believe it wasn't the original box, that the chairs were repackaged in a previously used box. I can't imagine how else the box would be this busted up while the chairs were fine.. Courtney. Forest Park, IL. Wed Jul 11 2018

This bar stool blends clean lines with contemporary style, making it a sophisticated addition to your kitchen island, home bar, or dining area. The open tripod base and low-profile backrest with integrated armrests create a modern silhouette with subtle mid-century inspiration. Upholstered in a soft chenille with a refined plush texture, the surface offers rich visual depth and a gentle sheen that elevates the overall look. The generously foam-filled seat provides lasting comfort, while the polished silver metal legs bring a sleek, modern touch that complements a wide range of interiors. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee, a quick meal, or evening cocktails, the built-in footrest offers added support and relaxation. Plus, the stain-resistant upholstery and protective plastic glides help make everyday maintenance simple and worry-free.

This is a beautiful counter stool and looks even better in person. The fabric has a chenille-like texture that feels soft and substantial, and while I’m not sure if it is technically a performance fabric, it looks and feels very durable. The color is beautiful, and the metal finish complements it perfectly. The seat is surprisingly generous and extremely comfortable. It’s wide enough to comfortably accommodate people of different sizes, and the stool itself feels sturdy and substantial. The height is also perfect for a standard 36-inch-high countertop. My only hesitation is the assembly. It arrived in a box much smaller than I expected, so there is definitely some assembly involved. It took three of us to put the first stool together because the metal pieces have to be aligned very precisely in order for the screws to go in properly. It took us about 20 minutes for one stool, and I would definitely recommend having at least two people assemble it. That being said, once it’s together, it is absolutely worth it. It’s beautiful, comfortable, sturdy, and looks much more expensive than the price. I highly recommend it.. Lisa. El Segundo, CA. Wed Sep 16 2026

Great combo to my breakfast chairs, but like the breakfast chairs the screws seem to shimmy out and find them on the floor every once in awhile. I bit frustrating when you hear one drop on the floor and guests are over or having to find the tool to screw them back in.. Dana. Houston, TX. Thu Jul 25 2024
