Opposites attract in this Couture Dreams Luscious window curtain. The soft, luxurious, elegant silk velvet curtain is juxtaposed with a jute header. So sophisticated and romantic, this curtain is a perfect pairing of materials that meld together to create a truly stunning statement.

The curtains were crazy expensive. It took me a LONG time to actually pull the trigger in my cart to buy them. With that said, they are beautiful and I would buy them again. Make sure you read the description. You get one panel and it is only 18 wide. They came out of packaging wrinkled but the wrinkles are falling out as the curtains hang. The top is a beautiful slate gray and the material is like a burlap. The bottom half has two layers. The front layer is a very thin crushed velvet like material. Rub down and it feels smooth rub up and you get resistance from the material. The material and weight allow the curtain to pick up lighting in different ways to give it a shiny look in some areas and add depth. It is a warm silver color that picks up a darker taupe in darker lighting. Where the natural sunlight hits, becomes an almost silvery white. The back layer is a semi-sheer that is a warm silvertaupe color. The kind of sheer material you would imagine for a bridesmaid dress. I used a double rod and hung a sheer white curtain with a burlap like look and feel to it behind these crazy expensive ones and I love the way it all looks together. These are accent curtains and would be unbelievably expensive to try to fully cover a window with them. My camera adds a pink tone to the photo where you can see close up of top and lower half together but they are not pink. I included a close up of the crush velvet material so you can see the true color. They can pick up a pink tone when bright sunshine is coming in the window behind them.. Elizabeth. Houston, TX. This lamp shade was exactly what I wanted to replace one on an antique lamp that had belonged to my grandmother. I was afraid it would not be as well made as the original shade, but I was wrong. The quality shines, and it perfectly completes the lamp. I always find great products at Wayside.. Carrie. Gilman, WI. Thu Sep 17 2026

If your windows could use a touch of yesteryear's sophistication, but you don't want to change your curtains or screens, consider a valance. Popular in Elena's decorating, the 38"W x 46"L valance is a decorative weave of fabric hung to give windows an interior bunting effect. Perfect for a bit of window dressing, this faux-silk piece features tassels inspired by the 19th Century, but with a slightly more contemporary update, and if you are looking to recreate the look pictured, three valances are necessary. Only one is included, need to purchase 3 valances to create the same look as the image.

So beautiful, arrived quickly, and install was super easy!. Anonymous. Sat Sep 19 2026

This luxurious velvet curtain will deliver instant drama and appeal to any space, available in classic and neutral colors. These 100% premium velvet quality curtains have a thick pile of fibers and attached blackout liner that helps provide thermal protection and noise insulation to reduce the transfer of sound and heat for energy savings. This rod pocket tie-up panel has a unique feature that comes with four attached ties measuring 37” in length that allows you to create an adjustable decorative bow tie look, adding flare to any window. Versatile header, a 3 ¼” rod pocket that can fit up to 2” diameter curtain rod or a traditional 3” return rod for a more tailored look. The panel is 50” wide by 63” in length. For easy care, the machine washes cold and line dry. Effortlessly beautiful with meticulously constructed custom-like details!

I love this curtain so much. I was looking for something I could hang above a window mounted A/C unit and this was just perfect. You do have to fuss with the bow ties to arrange attractively. The seams are messily sewn, with lots of loose threads. I also think the weight of the curtain "Unties" them after some time. Slightly longer ribbons would have allowed for more hanging height options and a prettier bow tie but even with the challenges its still the best man for the job. The lace curtains are mounted on a separate tension rod. Without them the curtain pulls up to high exposing the out side of the A/C unit.. Julie. Fullerton, CA. Sat May 09 2026
