I love this curtain so much. I was looking for something I could hang above a window mounted A/C unit and this was just perfect. You do have to fuss with the bow ties to arrange attractively. The seams are messily sewn, with lots of loose threads. I also think the weight of the curtain "Unties" them after some time. Slightly longer ribbons would have allowed for more hanging height options and a prettier bow tie but even with the challenges its still the best man for the job. I love these more than i was expecting. The 23” is the undoubled length of the rope which is a stupid was to measure them. They do the job however as I have 3 50” panels stacked in this photo and am so pleased with the earhty neutral bibe they bring my lux linen curtains and are a decent value for the price.
