I am ecstatic over these Amherst pintuck curtains. I have been looking for curtains to match my comforter and pillow set for a very long time and finally found them. I chose the aqua, cream, gray and they are absolutely gorgeous. The material has a very faint sheen, are made very well, and will last a long time. The curtains have a white linen back so they will aid in keeping it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. What I love the most is the top of the curtains. I have always had the pocket rod but with the way my curtain rods are, the curtais never went to the end of the rod which was a look that made me cringe. These curtains have slats that slide through the rod and can be adjusted to the end of the rod which provides a more cohesive look. I got vanilla color. It looks very yellow when next to true white, and with the light that comes through it looks even more yellow. However it worked in my other room with the grey sofa and off white walls. One set arrived badly wrinkled and with multiple stains. I returned it. Another set arrived in excellent condition. I ordered in grey color, I liked the fabric. It’s soft and not plastic like I got once before. Same on the inside and outside. Not completely blackout but not see through at all. That rare case when I actually liked the fabric. I placed them in a dryer on low with the wet blanket, that helped with some wrinkles. Someone else posted that in reviews, it was helpful.. Anonymous. Love these curtains! I added a wand to make them easier to open and close. The design is perfect and the quality are superb. I love the hidden rod pocket. They fit where we live in the trees of GA and do not over power a wall or your decor. They do block out light but at this time of year I don’t have a full understanding of how they will block out the hot sun of summer. I would purchase them again though. Arrived a day early which is always welcome! I’ve been anxiously waiting for these curtains, nervous about the color being just right. They did not disappoint! They need a bit of ironing and I still have the other window to do. The ceilings in our post retirement downsized home are only 8 ft high so we added generous moldings and I hung the rods super high, and these 96” drapes still pool on the floor, which is fine. Excellent quality, fabric and construction. I couldn’t be more pleased. But better, and more photos would have relieved some of my anxiety. Take note Wayfair! Opposites attract in this Couture Dreams Luscious window curtain. The soft, luxurious, elegant silk velvet curtain is juxtaposed with a jute header. So sophisticated and romantic, this curtain is a perfect pairing of materials that meld together to create a truly stunning statement.

The curtains were crazy expensive. It took me a LONG time to actually pull the trigger in my cart to buy them. With that said, they are beautiful and I would buy them again. Make sure you read the description. You get one panel and it is only 18 wide. They came out of packaging wrinkled but the wrinkles are falling out as the curtains hang. The top is a beautiful slate gray and the material is like a burlap. The bottom half has two layers. The front layer is a very thin crushed velvet like material. Rub down and it feels smooth rub up and you get resistance from the material. The material and weight allow the curtain to pick up lighting in different ways to give it a shiny look in some areas and add depth. It is a warm silver color that picks up a darker taupe in darker lighting. Where the natural sunlight hits, becomes an almost silvery white. The back layer is a semi-sheer that is a warm silvertaupe color. The kind of sheer material you would imagine for a bridesmaid dress. I used a double rod and hung a sheer white curtain with a burlap like look and feel to it behind these crazy expensive ones and I love the way it all looks together. These are accent curtains and would be unbelievably expensive to try to fully cover a window with them. My camera adds a pink tone to the photo where you can see close up of top and lower half together but they are not pink. I included a close up of the crush velvet material so you can see the true color. They can pick up a pink tone when bright sunshine is coming in the window behind them.. Elizabeth. Houston, TX.
