Whoever said this mattress was soft, fight me, because y’all lied. The bed did fully inflate within the recommended 72 hours. It probably would have been ready around 24 hours, but we followed the directions and let it sit the full 72. It also had no smell, which was a plus. I loved that I received the item within 24 hours. Unfortunately, upon receipt of the item, the bottom of the box was opened. Also the mattress is not cut true to size. ItIt was quite heavy, so you will require assistance from another person to move it to its intended location. We have unraveled it, and as less than 24 hours have passed since then, this is its current appearance. Therefore, I will likely wait another 24 hours before placing it on the bed to ensure it has reached its maximum fullness.
