This sideboard is great quality! The colors are great exactly what I was looking for. The amount of storage is abundant and the right cabinet has an adjustable shelf to allow flexibility. I hit a snafu when building this. Instructions were very easy to follow and all parts were labeled well. When I got to step 11 the page was blank along with the next page. I didn’t have instructions for steps 11-14. I called and they responded quickly but did not have a pdf they could send me. Since I had all the parts laying around my family room I decided to start from the back of the instructions and group the pieces together so I could narrow down what pieces were from the missing steps. I was able to figure out where they went and continued to complete the building process. I absolutely love the look and how sturdy it is. Great cabinets for the price. I changed the knobs to go with my decor. The reason for a four start vs five star is because when I first purchased the cabinets the description said solid wood. Then after item shipped I looked at the item again because I was excited and the description had changed. It no longer said solid wood and a review popped up that hadnt been there saying it wasnt solid wood as they had expected so the description had been updated. We are using this as a sideboard/bar in our dining room. I looked for a "distressed" black sideboard for a long time that was the right size to fit our small space, but tall enough to comfortable pour drinks and have plenty of storage space inside. Both sides have an adjustable shelf that can go up or down a notch. It took me a minute to figure out the shelf can only be moved after removing screws underneath that secure the shelf to the shelf brackets (I assume for transporting). I chose not to put the screws back in once I adjusted the shelf - no need for it, and it will make it easier to move the shelf again should I decide to. The distressed finish is actually a little more than what I thought it would be, but I don't mind since it goes well with my old window frame hanging above it. The depth of the credenza is also nice and allowed for a large lamp and tray. My only concern will be the durability of the wood. I looked for a mango wood or similar and took a gamble with this which is made of boxwood. It isn't as thick and sounds a bit hollow if you knock on the top of the piece, but the credenza is quite heavy and I am pleasantly surprised by how substantial it feels. Would recommend.. Andrea. Lovely cabinet! It’s a good size and would work well as a credenza or a tv stand. It was standard procedure for assembly given it was completely unassembled.
