Love this bed! I’m very happy with the shape, fabric, and color. I specifically wanted a bed with both a footboard and a tall headboard, and this checked all the boxes for me. It feels sturdy and well made, and the white glove delivery service was excellent. One thing I’d recommend to future buyers is to pay close attention to the height measurements. The headboard is VERY tall and makes a big visual statement, which I love, but it also takes up a lot of visual space in the room. Initially, my mattress setup felt lower to the ground than expected because I forgot to account for the fact that my previous mattress and box spring had been sitting on an A-frame foundation. Because of that, there was much more headboard visible above me than I anticipated. I was able to easily fix the issue by adding a 4-inch mattress topper/pad, which made a huge difference in the proportions and overall feel. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down.
