Plus, it lends traditional appeal to your ensemble with a solid wood and metal frame with 4 color options to choose from.

I was looking for an extra bed without the commitment of a full-time bedroom, and this Murphy bed fit the bill. It took about 2.5 hours to put together by myself. I referenced the assembly youtube to help get the actual visual process along the way. There were reviews about the mattress not being super comfortable (I would agree- functional, not what I would offer to a guest), so I purchased a memory topper for when it's being used. It is easy to transform to a bed. I did also make sure I had a rug to put under it, as someone commented that the one frame piece is not connected to the rest of the frame when in bed form and might move around. It is a quality piece of furniture, looks lovely in both forms, and has made my bonus room an extra space for guests.. Sarah. Forks, WA. Sat Nov 12 2022

Crafted from engineered wood, this wall bed delivers the durability and refined craftsmanship that modern homeowners demand — whether outfitting a studio apartment, home office, or guest room. The horizontal fold-down design deploys smoothly with a single motion, revealing a sturdy slatted platform base that supports your mattress without the need for a box spring. Perfect for maximizing square footage without sacrificing style, this multifunctional piece blends effortlessly into any contemporary or transitional décor scheme. Its freestanding cabinet profile with clean panel detailing makes it as attractive closed as it is functional open.

Great bed, but be patient while assembling. Take your time. Youll definitely need more than 1 person. Another reviewer said to make sure you assemble in the room you want the bed... he was right. The packages arrived beat up. Thankfully there was no damage. Regarding the bed itself, the horizontal opening seems safereasier to open for a shorter person. The only challenge is stopping midway down to unfold the feet. I also wish there were more than 5 slats under the mattress. We added a few more, ourselves. Just to make sure it had more support. Otherwise no complaints.. Barbara. New York, NY. Sun Sep 13 2026
