This shoe cabinet bench is such a great addition to our home! It took me and my husband almost an hour to put it together. For the most part it’s great quality but whenever we would put some of the screws in you could see bits of the mdf around the screw holes start to crack. Thankfully it wasn’t big cracks and you can’t see it at all past the screw but I would say that speaks for the quality. I do wish it were just maybe an inch wider. We were looking for a 12" deep console and found this one. It took about an hour and a half to put together, relatively easy. It's manufactured wood so not quite as strong as real wood, but will suit our purposes just fine. We wanted storage for a few board games, towels, etc. for a tiny vacation cabin. I love this. Common use shoes go under the seat, which rarely gets pushed in. Tall shoes, like rain boots, go on the open shelves. Kid shoes and adults shoes both go in the closed cabinet with an odor eliminator or two. Im adding hooks to either side for additional sweatshirt or broom storage to fit in our recessed entry closet.
