This sizable, freestanding etagere bookcase is both industrial and vintage-inspired, a dynamic way to organize any room in your home. It has a crisp, clean-lined open metal frame with X-shaped braces in back for exceptional support. Numerous shelves are crafted from engineered wood with a distinctive finish. These surfaces provide lots of space to hold books, framed photos, and much more. At about 69" wide, this bookcase is a great display area against one wall or a handy room divider. A wall anchor is also included for extra safety and stability.

We spray painted metal towers and covered shelves with white wood grain contact paper to lighten up this dark set. Quite easy to put together with two people with half stands propped on ottoman. Did put together top and bottom with holes facing wrong way and had to remove and flip one bottom tower so that joining screws found holes. Very wobbly and definitely anchored to wall on either side. These paired shelving units were just what my small business was looking for to store our store's product. Each unit took about 1/2 hour to assemble with two people working together. Overall happy with bookcase as it serves it's purpose. Nice and heavy but there in lies a problem as it ships in 1 package. Packaging looked very rough and delivered with a corner damaged. FedEx driver warned me it was unusually heavy and helped me carry it into house. Luckily you can't see the damage as it's on bottom unless you're looking for it. Nitpicking wise the top trim piece does not line up flush and isn't adjustable as guide piece is glued on so it sits a little crooked on top. Again overall happy with product, would buy again.. In decorating my psychotherapy office space I was looking for a very large imposing bookshelf because the space itself is 18' x 15' with ceilings that are over 12 feet tall. And so this item seemed perfect and was far less than the $2000-$3000 items I was able to find elsewhere. Who has that sorta money lol. Note, this took quite some time for my spouse and I to put together and in the future I'd just hired Taskrabbit for 50 bucks to do it.
