The shelving unit came well packaged and the instructions to put it together were very clear, it took me less than an hour to do it by myself. I would take note that after assembly it needs to be placed behind the washer and dryer set so hoses and wires should be unpluggeddisconnected from the wall. I’m in a rental property and have a very tight laundry closet so I had to pull out the washerdryer to install this shelving unit. Once installed though it has been so nice to have the extra shelving to place my laundry essentials and storage bins within reach. It makes the space look well organized and aesthetic! Would work better with washer dryer that sits on floor and not one that has a pedestal. Tabs for shelf support tend to slip down when installing shelves. Had to try and hold tab and use a rubber mallet to tap shelf into place on the tabs. With a pedestal under washer, it does not leave proper room for the hanging clothes bar. It also does not take into consideration if washer dryer is already in place. You will have to move the washer dryer out of the way to build it and put it where you want then put washer dryer in place. Since I could not move my washer w/pedestal, I had to try and build the unit around the washer while it was in place. Unit seems flimsy because of no self support across the lower area where washer dryer is. Based on how the shelf support clip tabs location, you cannot put two shelves directly across from each other. Works ok, but not entirely happy with the design and look.. Karen. Martinez, CA. The boards are individually wrapped so that’s nice. They are very light weight and a good color. Installed in my laundry room. The screws for the hooks and other features were poor quality and prone to stripping. It is very functional and works really well for my family.
