I purchased two of these storage units a few years ago, and they’ve been surprisingly versatile! We originally used both in our playroom to store kids’ toys. After moving last year and as the kids have gotten older, I repurposed one for our laundry room to store cleaning supplies, pool towels, and other household essentials. Since I still have a toddler, I added a childproof lock to keep cleaning products safely out of reach. There’s plenty of storage space, and we typically keep a small step stool on the bottom shelf as well. The second unit is in our basement and is used for miscellaneous household storage. I love that the shelves are adjustable, making it easy to customize the space for different items as our needs change. One thing to note is that we did encounter a few imperfections during assembly, so I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re planning a perfectly seamless, custom built-in look. However, for everyday storage, they’re attractive, functional, and hold a ton of stuff. I’ve been happy with how easily we’ve been able to repurpose them throughout our home over the years!. Mandy. I actually bought two pieces of furniture before this one. They turned out to be good quality and no damage. But this one I got a mishap. The very top piece or the crown (#1 on the part list) has some damage when I received. I attached three photos so that you can see. Two of them show the damage at one corner, for comparison the third one shows an undamaged side at the opposite corner. The top half is positioned upside down during assembly, that is why you see the crown on the floor in my photos. I also noticed slight color difference between the side board and the trim. Even though they are both white, the tone is slightly different. Don't know whether it was because of mismatched batches or the difference in material. I do see that the side board and trim using different materials. Thought some customers may be sensitive to minor color difference, like myself, so it is worth pointing out. Overall I give this five stars since I cannot prove whether the damage was by the shipping barrier or by the manufacturer.. Anonymous. Tue May 12 2026
