The end joints don't click together as easily as I expected, still dialing that in- but lengthwise seems pretty substantial.. Dave. Washington. Sat Aug 08 2026

This is the original, the one that’s set the standard for all Fireclay farmhouse sinks with the classic apron front design. The LancasterTM is made by hand in the same way since 1897 and is still in use today in 100-year-old English homes. Named for the county of Lancashire, the region where Shaws® sinks are made, the Lancaster has thicker walls and a lustrous surface that’s glazed not once but twice. Durable, distinctive, and authentic, the Lancaster is for those who seek an original and believe that making a statement is one they make for themselves.

Love the look, but you will need both a plumber and finish carpenter with patience and ability to customize cabinets due to the weight of the sink. It is also a handmade product, so it is not completely level on the bottom (hence need for both plumber and finish carpenter to work together).. Lauren. Boston, MA. Mon Jan 05 2026

Heightening its appeal is a very low-gloss finish, which calls to mind vintage European oil-rubbed floors. Scottsmoor Oak is hand selected by design experts to bring the natural artistry of hardwood into your home. The clean look and understated finishes let the beauty of the wood shine through for a timeless look that ages gracefully.

It wears really well and it’s very difficult to scratch it. I have a dog and a cat and I’ve never seen a scratch on it. I’ve had it in for about a year now. It was pretty easy to install and I get compliments all the time and people can’t believe that it’s engineered flooring. I wish it was cheaper but for us it was basically an experiment to see if we liked the type of finish in this one room.. Jonathan. Nantucket, MA. Sun Feb 10 2019
