Look for screws outside of the interior box as our box was open and the screw package fell out as we opened the bigger box but did find it eventually while clearing up the packaging! I really love this piece as it is better than the 1st 'craft center' (that is how I use it) I purchased a few years ago which was ruined by a flood in our basement (no fault of Wayfair of course)! It has more style with the sliding drawers, costs a lot less, but did not come with a separate file cabinet like the 1st, but do not need it as this one has 2 file drawers. And the best part, is it has a electric recepitcal on the top of the desk for a lamp or another appliance if needed. And it fits in my ensuite walk-in closet (which is my little craft room). I’m so happy with how the desk looks now that we’ve finished putting it together! Now, onto the challenging part assembling this desk was quite the adventure! There were so many screws, and connecting the wood involved some serious screwing. Even after we were done, there were still 58 screws for the back of the desk! Can you believe it Plus, it took us a whopping 5.5 hours to get it all together! We also found some damaged wood pieces (I’ve included pictures) that we had to skip because I didn’t want to deal with returning it and getting a replacement with the same issue. I absolutely love this desk. Obviously at this price, it is not going to be solid wood. It’s made of particle board in China but it looks so much nicer. Some pieces were a little dinged on the edges, but none of that shows once it’s built. I have it next to a high quality dresser in my bedroom and it fits right in. I love that the top lifts to a standing desk when needed. My husband assembled it on his own and knocked it out pretty quickly. He’s an angel. I would not have enjoyed the process, but he found it very easy. Wayfair shipped it quickly. The only major annoyance is that they used FedEx and my FedEx driver is too lazy to take it out of the truck to deliver it. My Ring camera caught him on two consecutive days coming to my door to take a picture of my empty porch. He didn’t knock or ring and I got notified that delivery was attempted but no one was home. We wanted good sized reversible desks for our office and were happy to find these. They're very sturdy and the veneer on the 'wood' top looks realistic. The assembly instructions are clear and easy to follow. Building them in either direction is simple, you just change which side you install the drawers/shelf on & spin the top piece around.
