I really like the quality and look of this bed. We bought it for my sons room. Since he is now in college, it was time to get rid of the twin bed! I do agree with other reviews regarding height - we used the higher setting and I regret it - we bought a 5" standard box spring and a 12" mattress and it was really high - we ended up using a bunkee board and it was fine but I suggest when you are building it, use the lower setting - putting it together took about an hour - not difficult, just a lot of pieces. Exceeded my expectations for the price. King size was a fairly easy assembly, 2 persons under an hr. Delivery was quick regardless of the 2 separate boxes arriving within days of each other. Making this bed is easy, our mattress is a Saatva Firm at 14”. Mattress drops nicely and fills the platform leaving a small gap to tuck sheets. Mattresses nowadays are very heavy but this bed allows picking up the corners without throwing out your back. Bed stays in place with no squeaking or cracking sounds. Ours arrived flawlessy.
