This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. Gorgeous linen white color that matches our walls perfectly. Shipping took longer than expected. I ordered 2 of these and each has some slight imperfections from handling. Luckily, it's in hidden areas not visible. I wasn't expected these to be already built. Shelves are not easily adjustable because they come screwed in place. We use for our kids' books.. Eileen. TX. This classic bookcase brings clean organization to your home office or study area. It's crafted from solid wood, highlighting a smooth texture that coordinates effortlessly with various decor styles. A fully finished back panel adds versatile placement options, letting you position it against a wall or use it to divide your space. It also arrives ready to use right out of the box to save you time.

The color and style are perfect in our bedroom, however the first try arrived damaged and trying to re-box it in the original cut-apart, damaged box was not fun. The replacement arrived about a month after the initial, damaged shelf and is in good shape. This is the second time we have ordered a wood product that arrived damaged. I like the final result this time though. Last time the replacement console table was worse than the first one!. Ruth. Franklin, TN. Sat Sep 19 2026

I purchased the 3-shelf size, 36" H X 48" wide. It holds my entire cookbook collection and does double duty as a divider between the foyer and kitchen/dining area. Beautiful, heavy wood in the mission style. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the backing. I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. The back of this bookcase is some sort of shiny, vinyl covered panel and the color is awful. Maybe it was meant to be faux marble, but they missed by a mile. It simply looks like someone threw dirt on it then watered it!. Gloria. Exton, PA. Sat Apr 18 2026

Nice color and easy assembly process, the finished product looks good and the color looks nice as well. However it came with a couple of light scratches on the inside, and the styrofoam packing got all of pieces and required more time to clean off. The backing for the shelf was also slightly too small so it took some adjusting to get it to fit right. Christopher Lorenzo. Everett, WA. Mon Sep 21 2026

I really like this bookcase. If fits perfectly in the space I had for it in my office. It’s very well made and heavy duty. I’ve never had anything made out of rubber wood before when I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It has a very prominent grain similar to oak. I used a dark walnut stain on it and then finished it with an orange oil product. I highly recommend it. Great value for the price.. Bev. Colorado. Sat Jun 27 2026

Beautiful piece. Relatively straight-forward to put together and would have been even easier with a second person. A couple of minor scratches, but nothing a furniture repair pen can’t fix.. Caroline. Wauwatosa, WI. Fri Jun 05 2026

Ensure your room reflects your personality with this versatile bookcase, perfect for putting your favorite novels, framed photos, movies, and more on display. Crafted from manufactured wood, this piece features eight adjustable shelves and two fixed shelves, so you can show off accent pieces of all sizes. A neutral finish helps this design blend with a variety of color palettes and aesthetics. The manufacturer backs this product with a two-year limited warranty.

The bookcase is beautiful and seems to actually be sturdy enough to hold my books unlike my last bookcase. However, the directions weren't clear enough about top and bottom of the bookcase so by the time we realized it was upside down it was too much of a pain to go back and redo anything. I would recommend it, but the directions need to be read four times over before taking the next step. Edit: I’ve had this for almost ten years now and it’s still in great condition with no warping or breaking. Great bookshelf.. Kelly. East Islip, NY. Mon Sep 28 2026
