This mantel is absolutely gorgeous! Very easy to put together and mount on the wall. I’m a 57 yo woman and assembled and mounted it by myself. Well, I needed someone to help me lift it onto the long bracket as it was too heavy to do alone. I highly recommend this mantel! Looks like a professional carpenter built it. Anonymous. I decided on and purchased this mantle for many reasons. 1) It being a Pearl Mantle let me know it would be made with quality. 2) It’s real wood and not some sort of plastic or pressed board. 3) it’s decorative and accentuates my decor perfectly and 4) the cost wasn’t cheap, but wasn’t unreasonably high! It arrived nicely packed, but I took one star away as it did not come with the 2 inch wood screws needed to do its install! It also did not come with instructions for installation. This meant searching online for instructions and having to go get the screws needed for the install. All that being said, I am still pleased with the mantle as it makes a beautiful addition to my fireplace and living room decor.. Liz J.. Spring Valley, CA. Wed Jun 24 2026

My mantel turned out wonderfully after staining. Make sure you follow instructions and use specific type of stain to get great consistent color coverage.
