These blankets are incredibly soft and cozy! I actually bought two, but apparently my dog and cat have decided they belong to them. It’s definitely heavy and warm, even with the air conditioning blasting. The only thing I’m a little disappointed in is the color. I don’t now if my pictures fully show, but it almost shows a bit on the blue side. Especially in the lighter gray spots. The opposite side is a solid velvet-y material in a slightly warmer gray that slightly contrasts the slightly blue-ish black on the fur side. I'm beyond pleased with this faux fur throw blanket! I've never been a fan of fur per se, preferring other textures, but this blanket has won me over. It's heavy, but still lofty if you sort of fluff it around you like a cocoon. The golden brown is so rich - it's a deep minky brown in the "undercoat" with golden brown and gray-brown on the ends of the fibers. The softness is absolutely dreamy.
