However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert. Not bad! Looks just like the photo in the description. Measured 100 times before I ordered. There is more of a gap towards the bottom right than top. At the top, both sides start at about 34” gap. At the bottom, the right gap ends up being about 1 ¼” and the left about ½”.
