Multi-purpose application, can be used in pergola, patio cover, greenhouse, garden plants, swimming pool, balcony, kennel and other areas where you want to create comfortable shade.

Useful product. I like the grommets all the way around for secured tie-down. Bought the 10x10 to update an older shade frame that lost its previous canopy from a winter storm. This comes with elastic bungee tie straps (though not enough for all grommets) I also used zip ties for extra security. Price reasonable compared to other online retailers.. Shirley. Red Lion, PA. Weed control fabric helps with drainage and keeps the ground clean, landscape and guidance. Widely used for weed barriers, irrigation work, road paving, and building project. Agfabric landscape tarp performs well in filter, drainage, isolation, protection, and reinforcement. Weed control cloth prevents direct sunlight. The strong structure of the fabric itself prevents weed or grass from going through and effectively inhibits the growth of weed or grass. The timely exclusion of ground water keeps the ground clean. Rapid drainage of surface water together with the pebble layer and sand layer under the ground cloth can effectively inhibit the reverse osmosis of soil particles.

I thought I was getting a great deal, but that old adage "You get what you pay for" is true in this case. If you just expect a tarp to hold up for one or maybe two seasons shading plants during the growing season only, then this is your tarp. It's made with cheap lightweight materials that I dont think will tolerate year round use, but it's a good price for an OK tarp. I needed a tarp to combine with a semi-shade tarp just at the end of my carport, and it will work well there year-round. And when it starts shedding or falling apart in a year or two, at least I didn't pay much for it. :) I'll replace it then with a better tarp that will cost more but last longer. The zip-ties were a nice bonus.. Carole. Grants Pass, OR. Wed Oct 07 2026
