This bed is very cute, but earns a four for the way it goes together. Not the sturdiest design on the center join where two frame pieces meet in the middle. It's adequate, but could be designed better. The design side of the footboard should face toward the room and not to the interior of the bed. The three holes were pre-drilled on the non-decorative side so if you flip it, there are only two holes and not a space for the peg that serves as a place-holder while joining the footboard to the rail so it is more difficult to assemble. The bed frame is just what I wantedneeded. It’s pretty but not too girly so that my husband wouldn’t like it. It seems sturdy and was easy to put together (less than 1.5 hrs). We have an adjustable bed so finding a headboard or bed frame has been a challenge, this fits perfectly. The head and tail of the bed are all designed with tufting, which has a beautiful appearance. It also has a charging port and a led strip, which is very practical. The bedstead is made of metal, which has excellent load-bearing capacity. The bed board has mute bars, so it is quiet and comfortable to sleep on. And simple installation, worth having.
