PureCare FRíO combines our specially designed OmniGuard® Advance fabric with rapid chill cooling fibers - a micarex-based responsive textile with unique cooling properties. FRíO's rapid chill cooling fibers disperse body heat throughout the surface of the protector at a rate five times faster than that of regular polyester, focusing solely on heat reduction along the sleep surface through a combination of nano-technology, nylon, and mica minerals. The unique tunneling effect of the mineral-based fiber keeps heat from accumulating in the material surrounding the body, providing a refreshingly cooler sleep surface. FRíO's rapid chill cooling fibers are a crushed mineral-infused textile, meaning the cooling effects of this material are literally built into the fabric and will not wash out, lasting the lifetime of the protector.PureCare's clinically proven 5-Sided mattress covers fit like a fitted sheet around your mattress. Terrific 100 percent cotton mattress protector! It fit like a glove and is padded with the softest cotton. It is difficult to find a mattress protector that is not made of some type of plastic. I understand people want the plastic to protect from spills. I did not want that. I simply wanted something more other than a thin sheet right against my new mattress. I was simply concerned about sweat going through the sheet and, over time, creating a mattress that may not be as "fresh." This mattress cover is the perfect solution! Well-sewn and crafted. And of course, Mayfair has super deals and this mattress protector was a super deal. You can't go wrong with this. My new mattress will always stay fresh now and for many years to come!. Stephanie. Great mattress pad! It came very well packaged in a condensed airtight container. We just purchased a new home and it sat in the garage waiting for me to arrive for several weeks – when opened smelled just as fresh as it would would’ve if I had opened it on day one. I was surprised when I opened it and realized just how thick the mattress pad was - was a bit of also a mattress topper. While I wondered if it was too thick, I figured I would try it prior to making any decisions. It was such a great additional padding. There are elastic bands to place underneath the mattress on all four corners which help helps keep it in place I was very happy with this purchase!. Brissettebeach. Naples, FL. Mon Jul 20 2026
