We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. It’s very very heavy. Be forewarned. The assembly isn’t too challenging but takes time. I did it entirely by myself. The disappointment come from the shallow draws. Even though it measures nearly 16”, they don’t open more than half way, so you need to removed them completely if you want to gain access to the rear of the drawer. Mine has a chip blemish on the top of it, which is a bummer but is otherwise fine. It looks good and is two separate pieces which can be handy if you don’t have a really large wall.. Jason.
