We recently installed composite deck boards to replace the old pressure treated wood boards. The composite manufacturer states rubber floor mats should not be placed on the composite deck boards. The manufacturer recommends only natural fiber mats which can "breathe" be used. I just received my doormat so I don't yet know how well it will function for the application it was purchased for. Update- not very easy to clean and looks darker now, but still feels good to sand in! Haven’t had this very long yet since it arrived during the holidays, but it is heavenly to stand on. It’s so squishy to stand on, you sink into it. It’s very thick and has a good bounce to it. I like the shape, as usually these types of mats are square.
