I used these two latches for my she shed. I need them to lock the gate as I come in and out. They do the job and I like that they are stainless steel for the weather outdoors so they don't tarnish! You'll need to put a string around the top and latch it somewhere so you don't get locked in wherever you put it. The door could close on you and you wouldn't be able to open it.. Lori. Create a functional walkway gate using your existing Zurich fence panels with the Zippity Outdoor Products Zurich Gate Hardware Kit. This hardware-only kit is designed to convert one Zurich fence panel into a smooth-swinging gate when installed correctly between two additional panels for added stability. For proper installation and long-term performance, three Zurich fence panels are required—one panel becomes the gate and must be positioned between two anchored panels. Installing a gate off the end or last panel is not recommended, as it can place unnecessary strain on the ground stake and reduce overall stability. The kit includes all necessary hardware components such as latch pieces, spacer, and gate stoppers. Fence panels are sold separately. Installation is straightforward and typically takes about 30 minutes. Basic tools needed include a power drill with the included Phillips bit. Clear instructions guide you through each step to help ensure a level, secure, and reliable gate once installed. If you ever need assistance, Zippity Outdoor Products’ customer care team is proudly based in the United States and is happy to help answer questions before, during, or after installation.
