I purchased these larger seed trays to germinate my clover grass sod. I have been looking for a cleaner, more natural substrate for my bird cages to minimize mess and enhance natural pecking and scratching for the birds. It's been about 5 days and I've got some nice sprouts. The trays are a nearly perfect size for the base of my bird cages. These can be use more any crawling/creeping vine seeds or a variety of grass. I’ve been using much cheaper lights that can run in a series (think shop lights but a bit stronger). This blows them out of the water in intensity. It covers a full 1020 tray of seedlings and burnt a few of them when o wasn’t careful. Luckily it can be dialed back or raised or lowered.
