This is a lovely light that arrived in a beat up box. Upon opening it I noticed shards of glass. I was surprised and disappointed in seeing it in this condition. Normally everything is packaged so carefully. The bubble wrap and the cardboard was flimsy as was the outside box. I’m going to contact customer service and will update my review later.UPDATE Great customer service! They immediately responded and replaced it with a brand new one that arrived in great condition and completely intact. It’s beautiful!. Peggy. Longview, TX. Sat Oct 10 2026

We recently installed the 16-inch Oil-Rubbed Bronze Outdoor Post Light by Charlton Home, and it has been a beautiful upgrade to our outdoor space. The oil-rubbed bronze finish gives it a classic, elegant look that blends perfectly with our walkway, garden, and front yard landscaping. The seeded glass is one of the best features. It adds texture, charm, and creates a soft, warm glow in the evening. The light is bright enough to improve visibility and safety, but still feels cozy and welcoming instead of harsh. The fixture feels sturdy and well-made. The metal frame has a durable feel, and the overall design looks like it will hold up well through different weather conditions. Personality and character mark the motif of this product. Durable aluminum provides a solid frame in a sleek finish, complementing a seedy glass shade that shields a trio of bulbs in a dramatic candelabra-style bulb base.

These are nice and good quality. My only complaint would be that they look dirty because of the seeded glass. You can't tell they are seeded from a distance so it looks like dirt.. Stephanie. NC. Wed Jan 15 2025

Install Balchier by itself or flank a front door with a lantern on either side to create instant, welcoming illumination for your guests. Balchier is also available as a post or hanging lantern.

we got the outdoor post lantern a few weeks ago and got it up next to the driveway close to the kitchen door, it is great in the evening to sit outside and not have to move around to get a light to come on, we also got a shimmering light to go inside of it, and it looks like one of those old timey post you see in the westerns or old movies where someone had to go around and light up all of the street lights, and the glass being frosted it is just stunning. we love it.... Bring instant curb appeal to your outdoor space with this American vintage post lantern. Crafted from durable iron with a matte black finish and crackled glass, it transforms driveways, walkways, and porches into a warm, relaxed, suburban-style retreat that feels welcoming every night.

I like this a lot and it was a nice and easy install. It comes with the lightbulb which is also really nice. The only thing that frustrated me is that the base of it is plastic. I was screwing it in and the plastic cracked. I plan to paint the post so I will try to cover the crack with paint also but when that happens with a new light you are just frustrated. The one I had replaced had a metal base and it made me question if I was going down in quality.. Kate. Bloomsburg, PA. Thu Oct 08 2026
