I wanted something that provides some privacy (street-facing window) but is still sheer enough to let in plenty of natural light. This does the trick. Dimensions are accurate as advertised. It fit our window perfectly. Be aware, because it is sheer, that if you have your room lit up at night, people will still be able to see in a little bit (outlines and such). These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert. My husband and I have hung many shades over the years but these were the easiest by far to install. Recently our neighbors cut down the trees that once provided shade for our kitchen, which led to the sun glaring in through the windows all day long in every season. the clip buckle adds 2/5 inch on each side (total 4/5 inch). Therefore, make sure your window width is at least 27 inch or larger for an INSIDE mount. For OUTSIDE mount, add 1-4 inches wider to your window opening width for better light blocking.
