We love these chairs so much! We have had them for 8 months now and they are used daily in our theater room. They are so comfortable and the recline is perfect, better than the fancy chairs at our local theater. The leather wipes clean easily and hasn't scratched, although our youngest is 11 so they haven't been through little kids. We did order the swivel trays direct from the company website, and they are not great. They do not wash well and they block the cup holders. I wish I hadn't spent money on those and came up with a different option, although we do use the trays very often.
Delivery wasn't the best with these. We cringed as we watched them stack our expensive chairs on a metal dolly and watched as it poked through the bottom of the box under the weight. You are supposed to sign a paper saying you are happy with the delivery, but it would have taken us hours to unpack them all and inspect them (we ordered 6). Sure enough, after an entire day getting them unpacked, loaded into the house, and the electric hooked up, one of the motors underneath had a plastic part that was cracked, making the recline inoperable. However, the way Wayfair handled it was stealler! After that experience, I won't ever hesitate to order anything from Wayfair.
For anyone looking to make a theater room, I did a lot of researching on how to place these chairs and scoured reviews on many sites hoping for more info. We ended up doing two rows of 3 with these. We built a platform for the back row using 12 x 2 lumber. The width of 8 ft was just enough for the 3 chairs, and they have not slid around at all even with the new carpeting we had installed all over our platform. For the depth of the platform we used 6 ft, 12 x 2's. The backs of our front row of chairs sit 14 ft from our 150 in projector screen and our projector is directly overhead the center of all the chairs. The front row of chairs does block the view of the rear chairs just slightly if they are left upright. When reclined they do not block the view. If I were to do it again I would have perhaps made the platform maybe 4 in taller and added a lower step on each side, as the 12 in already seems quite high to step up on. But it also has not been a problem as usually the chairs are reclined anyway. We installed an outlet in the floor underneath the platform with a whole for 2 power strips, one which sits behind the row of the front chairs and the other in the floor of the platform underneath the back chairs. There is plenty of space under the chairs to hide the cords and power strips. We've even brought in plugged in heated blankets as this is a room over a cold climate garage that gets chilly.
