This is a monster! Great coverage of our ten seater dining table , love the 360 and the tilt mode. It took three adults to put it together it is massive and is a bit tricky , maybe finicky when opening it but once it is open it’s fantastic and provides excellent shade. Make note the base needs to have weight added to it I think the minimum is 660 lbs! We used landscape fabric and some rubber weight plates then covered with rocks and then black river rock . Just what we needed for our new 12’ x 12’ cantilever umbrella to be able to move it around. Very big and sturdy base that supports the umbrella well. The only issue my husband was worried about was the fact smaller rocks could easily fall out through the large hole screen it comes with in the bottom of the squares. Fantastic purchase! First think is this is big and tall. Be prepared to get a lot of sand. I bought 300lbs. and it took it like nothing. Locate and place base begore filling for sure. I’m not sure how easy the wheels are for transport because I wouldn’t be able to tilt this thing back to use them (on one side). We have two purple leaf umbrellas on different patios. They have worked so well for us that we have recommended them to neighbors as well. It’s been a few years since we bought them and they still work great. We fill the bases with water each spring and empty them in the fall. The fabric has held up well. This umbrella with the wheeled base was a bit more expensive than other similar products, but it looks so good. An important feature of this product is the wheeled base. It’s pretty easy to move this huge thing around even with the base filled with water. We are glad we chose the one with the wheeled base. You really don’t know where to put the umbrella in your patio or deck until you try it.
