10” thick mattresses of good quality are hard to find especially in local stores. Serta came through on this one. Definitely not too soft. May add a topper later. Wanted a 10” to keep the height down since our platform bed is already 16” high and we really don’t care for high beds. And it’s light enough that we can rotate it ourselves.. Anonymous. Bought this for the primary bedroom. It is a little higher than I expected with my bed frame, but not so much that I need a ladder or step stool to get in bed. I wanted a mattress that was somewhat firm but had a pillow top. I found this. So far, and it has been a month, I love it. Nothing aches when I get up in the morning.
