Only the most accomplished sculptors in history can create art displaying the idealized contours of the human body draped with such sheer fabric that the beauty of both textures is realized. Since Praxiteles put his hand on the first life-sized female nude statues in the 4th century B.C.E., this revolutionary portrayal has been envied. While the relaxed pose and urbane nonchalance of this idealized figure are derived from a Greek model, the technique is distinctly Roman. And although her legs and arms are missing, most likely broken in antiquity, her shoulder curve suggests she may have been adjusting her hair. This exclusive work of art is cast in fiberglass-reinforced, quality designer resin with a faux stone finish to replicate ancient originals.

This classic statue evokes timeless beauty in the idyllic form of one of Rome's great men. Cast directly from the original scaled Roman statue of ca. 50 B.C. by the sculptor Kleomenes. The Nude male statue, erroneously identified as Germanicus, a member of the family of the Emperor Augustus, probably should be considered a portrait of a member of a wealthy family of the late Republic. It is here represented with a body copied from a well-known statue of the god Hermes (Mercury), the Orator, which stood in Athens. This nude male sculpture is executed in the classicizing style popular in the 1st century B.C. when sculptors like Kleomenes looked for inspiration to the masters of the 5th and 4th centuries in Greece. A distinctive addition to your home or garden gallery, this exclusive work echoes the fine sculptures seen on European estates.

Created in the New Roman style, this Design Toscano-exclusive fragment statue was cast by special agreement with a private British collector. Sculpted in a pose to suggest a victorious young hero, this impressive life-size sculptural torso is cast in quality designer resin, hand-finished in a faux rough ebony stone, and displayed to advantage on a metal museum mount. The Venus Goddess Venus brings a museum-like, old-world presence to a traditional living room or entryway. A figural, Rubenesque sculpture sits on a solid marble base, with an intentionally timeworn surface treatment that settles into the texture to echo the look of aged stone.

Made of composite in an aged beige finish with random spritzes of antiquing, the ancient Greek torso sculpture masquerades as an artifact. The marble-like sculpture has two artisans to thank for its feeling of authenticity: the mold maker, who is central to the work; and the painter, who hand-paints the piece to create the illusion that it was unearthed after being carved ions ago.

Beautiful! No regrets on this purchase. Roxy. Marietta, GA. Thu Jul 30 2026

Though the history of the Roman empire is awash with the feats of emperors, no tales told were nearly as cruel as those of the formidable emperor Caracalla. Though history hasn't been kind to the tyrannical monarchy of his reign, this bust statue of the ruler the Romans feared is important for the history and culture it represents. Caracalla fancied himself a military genius, the reincarnation of Alexander the Great. Their impressively, life-size sculptural bust is cast in quality designer resin.
