The coat rack was super easy to put together. It's also very sturdy and well made. There are a couple caveats to the praise. First, they were cheap on putting varnish in all spots. Along the side of one shelf and the ends of a couple of the pegs still had "raw" wood instead of the varnish. Also, the bottom has no feet or felt or anything to protect it from getting scratched up on the floor--unless it's on a rug or carpet. I plan on putting some felt pieces on the bottom. Also, when putting the three poles together, be aware of where the pegs go so you have them spread out better than I did. I might switch the middle and bottom ones so two of the pegs don't line up, making it awkward for putting items on them. I plan on using mine for purses and hats, not coats.. Mary. Malone, NY.
