Well this piece I think was package pretty well FedEx couldnt damage it which is good thing. My opinion the overall quality of the material used was not of the best that could have been used probably in my opinion but the veneer on it is very thin. Not a fan of the camlock system thats used to hold it together it just leaves unsightly the locks and everything inside the drugs and stuff its just to me it doesnt look very good but overall if its someone needs something its not a bad piece to have.. The package still arrived with a little damage but the dresser was in great conduction and we loved it! *Original* This dresser arrived very damaged! I have reached out to Wayfair and they forwarded my return request to the manufacturer. Personally I think it was damaged in transit but there were chips in the paint on most of the drawers so maybe not. I would have just touched it up with some paint but then while unpacking it I noticed huge damage to one of the side drawers that would make it impossible to assemble. Much of the Styrofoam packaging was crumbled and getting all over the place which made it all the more infuriating as I had spent an hour slowly unpacking and wiping down the pieces. well it arrived practically overnight so that was a surprise. after unboxing, all the parts were neatly and sufficiently wrapped and marked and upon inspection of all the parts all the necessary holes were there and all the bolts and nuts allen wrench hex wrench etc. it was quite an easy assembly I think the hardest part I had was to keep my head wrapped around which was the front but if you pay attention its a no-brainer. they gave a couple extra rails in case one breaks and a few extra nuts and bolts, and one extra handle. its a sufficient size with four big drawers and four smaller drawers however this space saving dresser will hold a lot. I plan on giving it to my granddaughter for her third son and I know she was in the market for one. the article is quite stable on its own so no anti-tipping device is needed at this point. Pleasantly surprised! It took me about 2 hours for assembly but once finished, it was symmetrical, drawers lined up smoothly, and feels sturdy. The drawers open from underneath so it’s a little hard to reach to open bottom drawer but not a deal breaker. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to tip over.
