The loft bed makes a smaller bedroom look large. It is a very nice and sturdy bed, and the Espresso color matches my child’s existing furniture really well. I got this loft bed and hopes to put my child’s dresser underneath the loft part, but unfortunately it is not tall enough for the dresser, but still makes the room look larger. It shipped quickly, and was packaged well, as the outside of the box was damaged when it arrived, but the bed itself was fine. It comes in a lot of pieces, so it does take a few hours to put together, but the instructions were easy to follow and for the most part I was able to complete it by myself. I liked that the individual pieces were marked with the item number instead of having to peel off a bunch of stickers. Got this loft bed for my 8 year old daughter. Its perfect for her needs. The desk is a little small (ie short) but it still works. I wanted it more as a study desk. We live in an apartment so the bed firs perfectly. Its low and doesnt take up that much space. Theres also lots of room underneath the bed to crawl around and hide. I previously made a review on a similar bed that we got from my son. My husband opened this package earlier today and it was cracked at the top end and I sent in pictures and made a complaint. Following him opening the rest of the package, there was a piece on the bottom that was chipped that you could tell that somebody tried to glue back together. On top of that, there was a long piece on the other side that was not even the correct piece, that you could tell was curved and bent. This is a serious safety concern and I am utterly disgusted.
